The judgement is out in a writ application where an elephant is [named](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YcGiNUnR1F8LPMQHZHf5hX5sHmFbJ66W/view?usp=sharing&ref=examiner.media) as the second petitioner. He’s the sole survivor of his herd killed by a train. His lawyers argued that he needs the court to order an environmental assessment of the railway line.
